此前双方同意推迟奥科吉2025-26赛季薪资转保障的最后期限（从7月1日变成7月16日），如果奥科吉在今天过后仍没有被黄蜂裁员，他新赛季770万美元的合同将转为完全保障。
2024-25赛季，奥科吉在太阳和黄蜂合计出战40场常规赛，场均上阵15.6分钟可以得到7.1分2.8篮板1.2抢断。
